Site Unseen: Creative Writing Workshop Series at D.C.’s Correctional Treatment Facility (CTF), where I develop and facilitate a syllabus centered on capacity building by working on foundational, practical writing skills alongside creative writing and storytelling as liberatory practices.
Create curricular materials that emphasize critical reading, collective inquiry, the iterative process of drafting and revising, and the use of digital tools to tell stories for social change.
Partner with Free Minds, a nonprofit supporting storytelling for individuals impacted by the criminal justice system, to enhance literacy skills and foster community engagement between university students and students who are incarcerated.
Mentor senior undergraduates in developing and completing creative writing theses, providing individualized guidance and support.
